Brighton

Welcome back to our blog!

Brighton has always been on my ‘go to’ list of places and a few weeks ago we finally ventured over there. It was good to be there and be able to adventure around the place. Brighton is around 4 hours away from our hometown,  so it was a little road trip, which was filled with laugher. We stayed in an AirBnB, which was a lovely house, located just outside the town, with a good 25-30 minute walk. It was super relaxing and stress-free being located somewhere so peaceful and quiet. one of my favourite things about our trip was waking up to the sound of the seagulls and the smell of the sea air.

Unfortunately we only planned to stay for 3 days, two nights but we managed to squeeze a lot in! the first day was mainly just exploring the town and finding where everything was. We went down the lanes, on the beach, to the beach huts and onto the pier. We arrived at about 10am, and after going down and one way street, a bus and taxi only street and entering an exit, we finally arrived!

On our second day we ventured out again, however this day was very special, but we will get to that. We were up and out the house by 10am and this day was just a chilled day taking photos for both our blog and Kellie's blog. We spent a good two hours around the beach huts - a great place for taking pictures and chilling. Another one of our favourite places was the bandstand. Anyway, getting to the exciting part..later on in the day, around dinner time we made our way up to the marina, somewhere Ian and Pip (the couple we stayed with), had suggested to us. About 30 minutes of being there and taking picture we bumped into the one and only Alfie Deyes (pointlessblog), Sean o'Connor, Chai Cameron and their friend. They were by far the politest, nicest people ever and we had a good laugh with them. We then headed to the beach and had a slush, then made our way to the lanes, where, believe it or not, we bumped into Alfie again, this time he was with Marcus Butler.

Our last day we spent chilling and again, down the lanes. One of my favourite 'shops' down there was a photo shop called photomanic, it has two booths, one black and white and one colour and table full of props so you can make your photos funky and bubbly. I would defiantly advice you to go there if you happen to be in Brighton, the owner of the shop was a lovely man, he was ever so kind. Lets not forget that we were also on TV! When relaxing in a lovely park we were asked if we could participate in a Dance documentary, no, we didn't have to dance haha! We just had to sit, watch and look pretty. The trip ended with a fun 4 hour journey back home.

Brighton is by far my favourite place to visit. Where's yours?

If you're thinking about venturing to Brighton, i would 100% advise you to stay at the same place as we did. Ian, Pip and their adorable two kids Isla and Alix are the nicest, friendliest people you could dream of staying with, they treated us as if they knew us and like we were grown ups. Lots of love, Alice and Nia xoxo
